The Wailers

After signing to Island Records in 1971, the name Wailers referred to Bob Marley’s backing band. When Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston left the group two years later, it was officially passed on to Aston “Familyman” Barrett and his late brother Carlton, who died in 1987. Bob Marley and The Wailers would then go on to break musical history by selling well over 250 million records worldwide. The Wailers Band remains the world’s ultimate roots rock reggae outfit. Touring up to a full 11 piece format including a horn section; the touring band features core members Aston “Familyman” Barret on bass, Al Anderson on guitar, percussionist Alvin “Seeco” Patterson and organist Earl “Way” Lindo, all of whom played alongside “Familyman” and Marley on many of those unforgettable recordings and live performances for the seventies. No other aggregation can match them for either the depth or quality of their hit songs, or their widespread appeal. ….The Wailers “live” show consists of Bob Marley and the Wailers songs such as: Lively Up Yourself Could You Be Loved Satisfy My Soul Trench Town Rock I Shot the Sheriff Roots Rock Reggae Get Up Stand Up Who the Cap Fit Kinky Reggae Is This Love Redemption Song One Love Exodus Jamming No Woman No Cry Buffalo Soldier War Stir It Up Plus many other old songs written by members of the Wailers that were performed live during the Bob Marley and the Wailers tours, as well as new original Wailers songs.
