Santa Fe
We're 'officially' based out of Philiadelphia, MS, but the members are scattered all over east central Mississippi. When we formed in 1993, country music was big and was what most clubs wanted bands to play. We wanted a name that was classy and country sounding. Santa Fe just seemed to fit. Now it's seven years later and music has changed a lot. So have we. But we still like to fit a couple of country tunes in our show. Everyone seems to like them (in fact, the audience seems to sing along loudest to the country tunes) so we'll keep playing them. And since everyone knows us by Santa Fe, why change something that works!
