Florez

Florez is pushing pop rock beyond its fabricated sound, surface deep lyrics, and generic hooks. Hailing from Richmond, VA, their music is steeped in soul-singing, blues roots, banjo licks, and the reinvention of guitar leads. Florez's sound will find itself at home in the college scene, which embraced such bands as Ben Harper and John Mayer. After graduating from Furman in May 2003, Florez began seeking more recognition in the music industry. They have since moved to Richmond, VA, where they have already begun to build a solid foundation of followers, and tour up and down the east coast.

Florez has made it very clear that rock is in a time of need for something with substantial and sustaining quality. Florez recently headlined a local club know as the Handlebar and broke the attendance record for a string of shows known as the Mountain Rock Series. One thing for certain is that this is truly just the beginning for Florez, band will undoubtedly be a force for years to come in a renaissance of rock and roll.
