Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Chatham County Line successfully recreates the diverse elements that Bill Monroe used in forming the traditional bluegrass sound. Centered around a single microphone, the band plays traditional bluegrass instruments and performs original music with a nod to the traditional bluegrass style, but incorporates other elements to create a fresh, "new traditional" style of country bluegrass music.
